Marketplace Buyer Terms
These terms govern apps, agents, and templates ("Listings") you purchase or install from the UpliftOS Marketplace. They apply in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Listings May Come From Third Parties
Many Listings are created and sold by other UpliftOS users, not by UpliftOS. UpliftOS operates the Marketplace as a venue and facilitates payment, but the seller is responsible for their Listing. UpliftOS reviews Listings before publication but does not guarantee their quality, security, accuracy, or fitness for your purpose.
You are responsible for evaluating a Listing before you install or rely on it, especially before granting it access to your data, integrations, or customers.
2. What You Get
When you buy or install a Listing, you receive the license the seller specifies on the Listing, subject to these terms. Depending on the Listing, that may mean:
- Access to use a hosted app or agent within your organization, or
- A copy ("clone") of the Listing created inside your organization for you to configure and use.
Unless the Listing says otherwise, your license is non-exclusive and for your own internal use. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish a Listing (or a clone of it) as your own without the seller's permission and compliance with our Seller Agreement.
3. Payment & Credits
Listings may be free, charged as a one-time or recurring fee, or charged per use in credits. Cash payments are processed through Stripe and may be routed to the seller. Per-use charges are drawn from your credit balance. Pricing and any recurring charges are shown before you confirm. See our Billing & Credits Terms.
4. Refunds
Each Listing states its refund policy (for example, no refund, or a 7, 14, or 30-day window). Refund requests are evaluated against that policy and applicable consumer-protection law. Where eligible, a refund may be issued to your original payment method or as platform credit. Contact [email protected] to start a request.
5. Data, Access & Security
A Listing you install may request access to your organization's data, connected integrations, or end-user data. You control what access you grant. If you deploy a Listing that processes other people's personal data (such as your own customers or employees), you are the controller of that data and are responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate notices in place.
Report a Listing that appears malicious, broken, or infringing to [email protected].
6. Disclaimer
Marketplace Listings are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpliftOS disclaims warranties for third-party Listings and is not liable for losses arising from a Listing's defects, security issues, or seller conduct. Your remedy for a defective Listing is against the seller and through the refund and dispute process described above.
