Billing, Credits & Auto-Renewal Terms
These terms explain how UpliftOS subscriptions and credits work — how you are charged, how credits are earned and spent, when they expire, how renewals work, and what happens when you cancel. They apply in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Plans & Subscriptions
UpliftOS offers free and paid plans, and separate product subscriptions. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Your plan determines included credits, seats, and feature limits. Some products and features are gated to specific plans or tiers.
2. Automatic Renewal & Cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- We disclose renewal terms before you subscribe and send renewal/price-change notices where required by law (e.g., California's Automatic Renewal Law and similar rules).
- Canceling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period unless required by law.
- If a payment fails, we may provide a grace period before suspending paid features.
3. Free Trials
If we offer a free trial, we will tell you its length and what happens when it ends. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, a trial may convert to a paid subscription, or promotional/bonus credits granted for the trial may be removed. Trial details are shown when you start the trial.
4. Credits — What They Are
Credits are the internal unit used to meter usage on UpliftOS — for example, agent and tool runs, AI model calls, voice, builds, and certain Marketplace items. Credits are a limited-use license to access features. They have no cash value, are not a deposit or stored-value/gift instrument, are not transferable except as the platform allows, and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
You may receive credits from three sources: a monthly plan allowance, bonus/promotional grants, and credits you purchase. Charges are drawn in that order.
5. Expiry, Rollover & Forfeiture
- Monthly allowance credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over, unless your plan explicitly includes rollover.
- Bonus/promotional credits may expire or be removed per the terms of the grant — for example, trial credits removed if a trial ends without payment.
- Purchased credits remain available across billing periods and are consumed after allowance and bonus credits.
6. Buying Credits & Usage Overage
You can buy additional credits in packages shown at checkout. If you exhaust your credits, eligible plans may continue usage as overage billed after the fact at your plan's overage rate, shown before you incur it. You can set budget limits to cap spend. Per-action prices may change; current prices are shown in the app, and we provide notice of material changes where required.
Credit balances are usually held at the organization level and shared by the organization's members, subject to any per-member limits an admin sets.
7. Refunds
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.
- If we charge you for work you did not receive (for example, a failed build), we will credit it back.
- Refunds may be issued to your original payment method or as platform credit, at our discretion and subject to law.
- Marketplace purchases follow the refund terms in our Marketplace Buyer Terms.
8. What Happens to Credits on Cancellation or Account Deletion
When you downgrade, cancel, or delete an account, unused allowance and bonus credits are forfeited. If you have a remaining balance of purchased credits and wish to request a refund of that balance before deletion, contact [email protected] first; we will handle it consistent with applicable law. Deleting your account removes associated billing records and balances.
