SMS Terms

These terms govern the text messages UpliftOS sends to you about your own account. They do not cover messages you or your agents send to other people — those are governed by our Outbound Communications Policy.

1. The Program

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, UpliftOS may send you SMS messages relating to your account. We send three kinds of message and nothing else:

  • Security codes — one-time passcodes for sign-in, two-factor authentication, and password resets
  • Account notifications — build and deployment results, agent completions, billing and usage alerts, and service notices
  • Customer care — replies from our support team about a request you raised

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

2. How You Opt In

You opt in by entering your mobile number and ticking the consent checkbox — which is never pre-ticked — when you join the waitlist or in your account settings. Providing a number is always optional; UpliftOS works fine without one.

We keep a record of when and where you gave consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the instructions in section 5.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Most messages are triggered by something you did — signing in, starting a build, contacting support — so the number you receive depends on how you use the platform.

4. Cost

UpliftOS does not charge you for these messages. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.

5. How to Stop Messages

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. We will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and then we will stop texting that number.

STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT work the same way. To start again later, reply START or re-enter your number in your account settings.

Opting out of SMS does not close your account or stop email you have asked for. If you use SMS for two-factor authentication, turning off texts means you will need another second factor to sign in.

6. How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message for instructions, or email [email protected] and a human will answer.

7. Carriers and Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on your carrier, your device, and network conditions. Supported carriers may change without notice.

8. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the SMS service, who process that data solely to deliver the messages you asked us to send. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
